It looks like they are using a modified version of Gamecore, could these changes make it to the public version?

David,

Super Awesome Mega Games is Gekidos site, fyi.  Gekido worked for Gamecore/Helios, and.....I THINK he was laid off.  He's still here somewhere, drops in once in awhile and says, "YO", helps out still, etc.

Yes, I know Gekido doesn't work anymore for Helios, but if you have read the SMA posts months ago they said they have an agreement with the engine licensing, the game was made with a modifed version of Gamecore, one thing I could see they included is shared materials, so I was wondering if those changes may do their way into the public version of Gamecore.

What's the state of GameCore in February 2012 ? I have not found any 2012 forum posts ... This shies me away from trying out GameCore more thoroughly ...

I'm not sure there is any movement on development of GC. The Helios site has had a list of jobs related to development of GC on their website for 9 months or more. I can't remember when I first noticed them. None of the job listings has changed since then, and in fact the website doesn't seem to have been updated since March 2010...

I have not had success in trying to contact the Helios folks. they do not answer phone...This number has been disconnected.
The second phone number I had for them also...This number has been disconnected..

Not a good feeling, since my GameCore "Game" dropdown menu does not have a PRODUCE function nor a EXPORT to WEB function.
The only thing I have on this Version 2.5.4 is "Export Game" to a Hard drive location as an .exp file.
"Export Game as..." to a Hard drive location as an .exp file.     (same as other tab)
"Export File List"

Nowhere do I see a Produce option any longer.  On the earlier Version, I am sure I saw a Produce or Production option under the GAME tab.

I have even contacted "Full Sail University" who were the ones that partnered with Helios to launch GameCore 2.0.
The Public Relations office did not know who Helios was or GameCore, anything.  Even though on the Helios Web Site it says to contact the office at FullSail.
No joy yet.
The P.R. lady is new and the P.R. contact in 2009 is gone and there is no documentation about Helios the current woman can find.
She is forwarding an email from me up the "chain" to see if anyone remembers Helios and perhaps a Project Manager.
