Yeh done that; now the game core image comes on screen and then fashes off again.

First I installed another indie then after the error came up again I went through the steps as you mentioned.

Do you think I need to re-install each time and then before launching it add to the config.cfg file?

I think you have revealed the limits of my knowledge  Cry
But can do a last thing that may tell us more about the problem : open Windows Event viewer, after a gamecore crash there may be some details about the error's origin.

in Windows Event no problem with Gamecore after crash...nothing...
and  by default in my config.cfg was only
LastPath C:\GameCore\Projects\Island Demo\
LastFile C:\GameCore\Projects\Island Demo\IslandDemo.gpr
LastPath C:/GameCore/Projects/Island Demo/media/worlds
LastFile C:\GameCore\Projects\Multiplayer Racing\Multiplayer Racing.gpr
LastPath C:/GameCore/Projects/Multiplayer Racing/media/worlds

ProjectsFolder c:\GameCore\Projects

then i wrote in this file code from previous posts.now i have on start black screen or error)

Changing the graphics driver to opengl in the config prevents GC starting on mine but it works fine set to directx9. I'd leave it to directx really, unless your using an old laptop or something.

I think you can delete all the lastpath/lastfile entries in the config file, they're not necessary.
It might be a problem if it's trying to load something that isn't there.

Has anyone solved this problem or has any other suggestions not mentioned before in this thread? I have same problem and tryed all suggestions, but nothing works for me. I was thinking, maybe there's a problem with Windows services? I mean, maybe some specific Windows services should be running to run this program.

Hello.

Sorry for google translate:

I'm having this same error. A few hours investigated the cause. I learned that GameCore protected with Armadillo. Found a program that removed a layer of protection. After this error disappeared and turned activate Indie-license. Apparently the defense was not like a driver or service. Maybe a firewall or antivirus.
When loading Island Demo a different error, but this is probably due to removal of a layer of protection.

Advice to developers - Remove protection for Indie-license or upgrade Armadillo. It is possible that a new version of the Armadillo this error corrected.
