First off, this thread is apart of the art pipeline, but I dont need help with anything...Well at least not with this anyways.  I just windows 7, and put GC on here.  The GUI is different, and I noticed the soldier is back!  But how come it wasn't in my vista version with the lego character???  Was there some kind of update I missed that secretly updated within???  Or was the lego character a vista thing?  Thank God I have something else to play with, finally.

The lego character is currently being held hostage by a rouge team of GameCore Soldiers. We are working very hard to secure his save return, but to be honest the outcome looks bleak.

Gekido is on his way to do a money drop and hopefully bring lego man home in one piece. I have my doubts about his captors intentions and I think they plan on offing him anyways. Regardless of the outcome GameCore soldiers will probably be around for a very long time...

Say it isn't so!
I love the lego guy. He's awesome for just dropping into a world for "wandering-around-checking-how-things-look" purposes.
The soldier camera isn't set up as nice as the lego man, it's to FPS erratic, IMO.
And not to nitpick, but it's rogue, not rouge, unless of course they are red french soldiers  Tongue ...

Damn my lack of proofreading. I was just discussing in the office yesterday my dependency on red underlines for spelling error detection =P

Legoman will probably not be making a new appearance. (but I have it on good faith he works with the new build if you happened to "hold on" to the file for personal use. But to be honest I find the push-ball much better for quick tests; you have a little more control of view and move speed)

You are just full of useful information...3 free spelling mistakes for you!
But just to confirm, I have been using the lego man in this version and in the interactive framework, and he works just fine.....

Our original intention with 'Block man' was to have a simple character that people could use as a starting point for their own characters, but turns out it was a little 'too' simple.  Since he was done without even using bones for the animation, it has proved to be problematic for people looking to create animated / rigged characters.

The sci-fi soldiers have returned temporarily as we work on a more flexible (as in not so genre-specific) character library that people can use as a starting point for their gamecore projects.

Hmm... "Block Man" still appears in my templates, even though the new version of GameCore installed to a different directory... If I go to add a player I can add either the soldier or simplecharacter, which is a block man for me, not a ball... Should it not be there?  Huh
