So, before going to bed I got this idea that maybe we could use textures to place object spawners where we want them. Now we just use a layer and place object randomly all over. What if we wanted to block our objects to certain places, so grass don't go on patchs etc.

So I made new layers and added textures and started painting on small areas where I wanted my object spawners, and what do you know, my spawned objects stay inside the painted area.

The crates are on Layer 2 and belong to the red colored texture
The barrels are on Layer 3 and belong to the yellow colored textures. I can just paint where I want them to be

If you use the 'align to terrain'' option, they will also be planted properly on the terrain as desired. 

In GameCore 2.5 as well, any object with collision doesn't use instancing, and can also have scripts enabled - so if you want objects to be triggers or pickups or whatever you want, you can use the spawner system to place them randomly around your terrain as desired ;}
