this has been stated before. unfortunately you have to use old FBX exporter that has the oprion add root_node, this will make character upright

Can someone please provide a number of example models that have been giving you problems with the new FBX exporter - we are working on updating the FBX sdk to the newer version, but want to make sure that it's actually fixing the problem with the newer versions as well as not breaking all of the older FBX content that people may have already.

Please submit a support request and either attach a zip file to the ticket or post a link to a file somewhere that we can download.

Thanx pixel - we are doing a bunch of testing with content from various apps - max / maya / milkshape to confirm that the FBX export works from the various sources, but extra external content always helps.

We're pretty close to having a test release out to let everyone run their content through it's paces - should hopefully resolve most of these strange issues if all goes according to plan.
