Sound samples and effects.........

While discussing the pre-production path of my project with a co-worker that is currently in music and sound design studies at a local university, he pointed me in the direction of a website that is loaded with free creative commons liscensed sound samples of everything imaginable.
There are several other links to other sound sample libraries there as well.
In case anyone on here was unaware of it, here it is:

Yeah there are a number of excellent creative commons sites around that have libraries of sound effects, soundtracks and many other similar resources.

Please note that there are a number of different creative commons licenses though - and not all of them are 'free for any use'.

You are absolutely correct. It's always a good idea to read through the fine print to make sure you aren't going to get yourself in trouble.
