Sorry duno if u been asked this question alot but is it possible to make
RPGs with gamecore?
things like - level system
                 - professions
                 - npcs
ECT ECT   Cheesy

i have Gamecore PRO so i just liked to know what genres are possible to make can't find the answer anywhere on the forums  Undecided

Also! :O if anyone are making a team to create a 3D game i have good skills in 3D modelling and Animating also little knowledge of c++ ! or i can be a producer n sit back and relax Tongue

Hello. Any genre's possible really, as it is with most game engines. It depends on your skills and what specific technical features your game requires. You'd probably be best starting off with the Adventure game template, see how that works and modify that.

Level systems are quite easy I think. I have a little modified script for setting up player stats when starting, like strength, stamina etc. Then it's a matter of setting these through the game. Then you make condititions that when you have X stamina you have X hp etc.

I will work more with this this autumn if I have more time.

short answer:  yes definitely.

If you check out my semi-coherent ramblings over at www.combatspecops.com i'm working on a mish-mash of game styles that incorporates stats-type progression and weapon details similar to what you have mentioned.

I have implemented a complete character-creation rpg style 'dice roll' system and have been making good progress on weapon-stats as well.

gameplay is going to be a combination of rts meets rpg/shooter gameplay...if i like it gameplay-wise it's probably going to be incorporated, much to the detriment of my internal development timetable ;}
