Before you had the water surface we used texture files. I was able to select that layer and stretch it out to the horizon to look like an ocean.

Is there a way to do that with this new release? In other words I have an island in the middle of the ocean.

Thanks !

Pixel will that stretch the terrain or the water? Im referring to the water so it looks like an ocean around the island?

That should stretch both. If your terrain is above water at the edges of the plane then that will stretch the terrain to the horizon, leaving like a super long mound. To keep water 100% surrounding the terrain, keep the terrain clear of the ends and make sure it's deep. It basically repeats the very last line of pixels on the heightmap.

HOWEVER! Using the sky system, I've noticed that it stretches ALMOST to the horizon, and leaves a big goddamn nasty black gap that cant' even have the color changed with "background color".

Turn on fog & adjust it so that it blends your water into the horizon:

Like so:

when using the sky it seems that fog and everything else just keeps under the horizon, everything else is clipped that is above
