Is there something new with the water? I decided to go through the tutorial and when I got to Terrain Water I followed the instructions and adjusted the level/height but I didn't see the reflective water surface? I noticed the different extension .srf  I found part of the problem the normal map was not applied but Im getting some oddness when running the examples, I'll do a bit more testing before I report this, its almost like my graphics are off, water is flickering instead of animating properly.

Thanks for the help.

when you have the water plane you have 2 object surfaces. Water and Layer1

Press Layer 1 and then LOAD FROM TEMPLATE. Load the water shader.

Next I think you need to apply a normal map. Use the default but you can use any image and the water should show up
