Thought I'd let my helicopter code out into the community.
I'm not really a programmer but it works ok I think.
Any improvements you can make, please go ahead.

You can load this into the engine as a GameCore project

Defualt controls
Arrow Keys -  Forward, Back, Roll Left & Roll Right
A - Up Thrust
Z  - Down Thrust
Delete - Rudder Left
Page Down - Rudder Right
Mouse to rotate the camera, mousewheel to zoom in and out.

That's a bit odd. At what point does it crash?
You might have to delete or edit the .cfg files to suit your system I suppose.

Well I don't know, it works on mine and there's nothing unusual about it. Maybe your download is corrupt?
What is your second picture of?

Works fine for me, not sure what might be the crash.  the control scheme doesn't work at all on my laptop keyboard, but otherwise it's very cool.  will have to see if I can get my blackhawk flying using your system ;}

What I do to help on my computer (its a bit behind the times) is remove water and spawned objects (grass, trees) and it brings the framerate back to a reasonable number. Would that help with yours?

In this particular game I dont think that there is anything I can remove.

Edit: So far GameCore is the only program that I have problems running under DirectX

Thats getting better, water kills mine too. Also in general with tree spawners, I manually place the trees and get better fps.
