Hey guys, I'm finally back.  The new engine is soooo much better now!  Haven't been here since BV days, but my work has finally come back around to needing 3D re-creations.  To that end, the thing I'm needing now is for a car to follow a semi-truck.  I've set the semi up as the player and have all the camera angles I'll need worked out, but I'm not sure how to get another vehicle to follow it.  Another option, I guess, is to have both the semi and the car on the same path, but in doing that I'm not sure how to get the cameras working on what's basically a dummy vehicle now.

Any ideas?

The semi's under player control or on a path? If it's on a path, just delay the car. If it's player controlled, the car will need to be ai.

Is the car far behind the semi or hinged to it? If it's far, it will need pathfollowing and you'll need to set up your streets. If right behind, you can use the "lookat" command. If actually hinged to it, you can use a physics joint.

Well, I want him tailgating the semi, but I don't know if that's close enough to use a hinge or not.  Right now the semi is under player control, but it may be easier just to stick him on a path.  I'll check out the lookat command first, though.  Thanks for the tip.
