We found a very interesting / useful site for those interested in the math behind things like projectile physics etc:

ie if you are trying to make a more 'serious' type of simulation behind your game dbehaviors, this site has all of the formula's that you'd ever want to know (and much more):

Should be enough to hurt your head for a while if nothing else ;}

Quite frankly I find this disturbing.

I've been spending about a week looking for a physics formula database because I have issues like getting my cheese wheel to spin as fast as it's moving or it looks like it's sliding and I forgot the formula. I also have some catapult ideas that need it aswell for crap like tangent velocities and whatnot. I was just giving up and I contemplated today to ask here if anybody knew a spot or at least those formulas.

You're some kind of mind-reader, aren't you?

On a side note: dang I'm a moron for forgeting these things.

yeah we were looking around for the same reason - it's crap that is pretty elementary (well, high-school maybe) physics, but it's been several lifetimes since i've had to remember this stuff so it was just easier to try and find a good source online.  my brain doesn't have enough ram to keep all this stuff anywhere near accessible and the paging time is getting ridiculous in my old age ;P

Hahaha...Mike!....You have more than enough RAM.....but I understand the sense of humor though.
Thanks for the link...it's a good source of references for sure.
