Wow, I just found this thread. What a blessing to be able to turn of that stupid autocomplete! That is the most useless function in the world! Thanks, Ron! And I agree, it should be a menu option.
One more quick note I have since then. I went directly to the Scite website and downloaded their latest version and love it. You have to do the same thing though with the associations.
Also, if you do, you have to tell it what programming language you want to view it in (C++, script, ...). I just click the C++ manually each time, not bothered to figure out how to make it default yet.
