I have 4 terrain pieces, all 4096x4096....i placed them in the editor, assigned my heightmaps....then set about editing the edges......well...gamecore then came up with a " files have changed" window, i updated...and the edges clamped together!Didn't know this was a feature.......

That is cool. I know we have decent align tool now and this seems to be part of it Smiley

I didn't understand exactly. You changed the heighmap files or the terrain by painting it?

Good do know, anyway.
I tested matching the edges using the brush with the "set height" option with equal values for both neighbour edges, then painting.
