I have sucessfully attached a Controller Setting Script File (an adventure at its own, why isn't the item in the dropdown list of the OPR file?). I expected to get warnings because i use the controller script of the player in the pathfinding tutorial. And i got them. It would be neat to show what exactly refuses to work. The warning says that i have to press the ~ key to show them.

Unfortunately this warning seems to use the US keyboard layout. I use a german layout though. Grabbing the key combination for the shown ~ symbol does nothing here. Where is the ~ sign located in the US layout? How can i show the error warnings?

On the UK layout it's the @ key next to the ~ key, it might be the same for you.

Thanks BigDaz,

But nothing happens when i press the buttons around the @. Have gone through all buttons now, with holding down CTRL, holding down ALT, both, none of them, still no luck. Have found some other funky stuff by this. But not the error list.

Yeah, where is it, where is the Anykey key? Cheesy

Thanks Delerna. That is the german layout. As you can see the ~ sign is besides the big enter key at the right. But what i search is where this key is located in the US layout. Where is it in the US layout? Is it at the same location?

Ah, have it. Upleft below the ESC key. So far so good.

But even with that no reaction. So it's not the layout. There comes indeed nothing. Mmh, okay, then let's wait if the RC1 has the feature then Smiley

We used the tilde for opening the in-game console because that's pretty much the default for most games.  I seem to recall someone else having an issue with this on a german keyboard before, will have to look into it.

Apparently the key is returning different values on the german keyboard than a default US one...hmm...

On my swedish keyboard it is often the key just under escape that has ?? on it. Or on ? that is 3 buttons left of enter. But we also have a couple more letters than US keyboard

Thanks Gediko. Now i have it. It's the button below P, right from L. Pressing it opens the Console. And here it gives me the errors i search Smiley

Hmm, i notice that this forum software is unable to display Umlaute (mutated wovels?). No AE or OE or UE

If you have problems with your keyboard mapping you can also define another key to open the Console.
Add the following line to your Input.cfg file (in project root directory) and the F8 key will show the Console

###########################################################################
# input settings for debug (un-comment to show console on F8)

ShortcutKey KeyF8 Console

###########################################################################
