Hi! This is my first attempt at making an video tutorial. It's 11minutes long. You will learn how to quickly use a model and use the bones from the soldier.fbx and get it inside GC. I hope you like it. Here is a picture showing the final result: Here is the low quality video: http://vimeo.com/1627147?pg=embed&sec=1627147BIG WARNING. The sounds is quite low and when i try the demo in the end the gunshot and picking up weapon is really really loud. So turn down volume when i enter game Here is the link to the naruto model: http://www.poopinmymouth.com/3d/3d.htm

I'll check it out later too, I get the same error. Not sure what to update.
I've got 3 custom characters running around in-game so far and none of them use the soldier skeleton. My own character has over 160 bones and he's flawless. Of course, he's a prototype to learn the engine and not as complex as the final, but as far as I can tell, you're completely free to use whatever rig you want to. Which is awesome. The code calls the animation based on whatever parameters you can dream up and it's a piece of cake to attach armor or weapons to any bone in your list. My only real suggestion is to name bones appropriately and recreate your skeleton in a schematic view. Smarter yet, do that backwards.

Great initiative, pixel.
I just think the codec quality is too low to see the code, interface of max etc. And I don?t know if it?s my machine here, but the audio is too low also. I?ve increased all to the maximum but still can?t hear well.
I don?t know if its the page hosting the video that degraded it so much, but you should try vimeo.com. I think it compresses with better final quality than youtube.

THe original video is 800x600 and you can see all buttons and text. The sound by some reason was quite low except in the end when i am shooting, dunno why. This is the first time i use a mic and first video i record ever But i will try on vimeo and see what happens. Other than that i can try to upload as a zip somewhere

Yeah, sorry about that. I don't know why the volume is low and really high at that part. I had all settings at max. We will see what the next movie will be
